Hormuud Telecom NNOC upgraded to Barco equipment

Hormuud Telecom, Somalia’s largest telecoms operator upgraded their Mogadishu NNOC to Barco, including Barco’s Control Room Management Suite software package.

Control Room and AV Solutions, the only Barco certified integrator for Barco control rooms in South Africa provided the installation, commissioning and training services to make the new NNOC a reality.

The installation featured two separate Barco control rooms, both in Mogadishu, Somalia, but at different locations, each with the ability to view content independently as well as share content between the two buildings, their operators and remote operators over the network.
