Barco OL-721 videowall rehabilitation

Control Room and AV Solutions was tasked with rehabilitating a 74 cube Barco LED lit OL-721 videowall in Gauteng, South Africa.

Repairs and rehabilitation involved PCB level repairs to blown power supplies, image alignment, colour balance and software configuration. Also configured was a second LCD display in a different room.

Covers removed to assess the dead cubes.
Power supply damage visible on the workbench.
SMD component replacement takes place.
All cubes are switched on after the power supplies have been repaired. Colour and brightness uniformity issues found.
Technical Specialist Nashief is busy with image alignment. Standing up close to the displays guarantees a perfect result.
Barco certified engineer Yusuf R Shaik inspects the displays and makes fine adjustments.
The rear covers are replaced.
Second room tested for functionality.
The fully functional Barco videowall and Control Room Management Suite software in operation.
